Cat® Cylinder Head:
Manufactured to Caterpillar's stringent design tolerances and standards. No leakage occurs and fits perfectly into all cylinder head components and mating surfaces. Maximize reliability and service life.
Clean. The casting process may leave sand deep inside the cylinder head, which can cause harmful contamination of the engine or prevent proper cooling during operation.
For use with standard and extra-large rail and/or valve inserts: Rails and inserts are available in a variety of sizes for maximum reuse and repair of cylinder heads.
Designed for remanufacturing. The base plate of expensive cover castings can be machined to remove minor damage and still be reusable, extending service life.
