The drilling rig is powered by a diesel generator. The AC power from several diesel generators controls and drives drawwork, mud pumps,rotary table drive motors, motor-driven drawwork, mud pumps and rotary tables via SCR or VFD systems. Drilling rig adopts K type derrick, low installation, overall release; base with parallelogram structure, low installation, use drawwork tension to rise in place;Drawwork main brake using hydraulic disc brakes, auxiliary brake for electromagnetic eddy current brake or Eaton brake; VFD drive of the rig drawwork, auxiliary brake can use energy braking; drive turntable motor through two gearbox drive rotary table.
Electric drive rig performance characteristics:
1.Basic parameters in line with industry standards and regulations, the main components manufactured in line with the relevant norms;
2.SCR and VFD speed control system and digital control technology to flexibly adjust the drawwork lifting speed, rotary table speed and mud pump stroke to improve the working performance and power utilization of drawwork, rotary table and mud pump;
3.The traveling block position to achieve closed-loop control; auxiliary drive to achieve automatic drilling and emergency drive;
4.K-type derrick, low installation, the overall release, the top drive drilling device can be installed;
5.Parallelogram overall lifting base (some other types), can be table equipment and derrick low installation, relying on drawwork power overall rise in place;
6.Drawwork main brake using hydraulic disc brakes, braking torque, sensitive and reliable, auxiliary brake using electromagnetic eddy current brake or Eaton brake or energy consumption brake
7.Rotary table independent drive to simplify the transmission chain, quick installation and adjustment; also available through the drawwork power driven rotary table.
