Detailed parameters:

The Pressurized Curing Chambers, Series TG-7370, are specifically designed to prepare cement samples for comprehensive strength testing in strict accordance with API Specification 10, Section 7.

These Pressurized Curing Chambers contain pressure vessels with controlled heating rates, and are used to cure standard two-inch cement cube samples.

The TG-7370 are intended for the ranges of pressures up to 5000 psi (35 MPa), and temperatures up to 700°F (370℃).The  TG-7370A and TG-7370D  are intended for the ranges of pressures up to 3480 psi (24 MPa),  and temperatures up to 700°F (370℃).

Cement slurries for testing are initially mixed with a Shenyang Taige TG-3060 Constant Speed Mixer in compliance with Section 5 of API Spec 10. The slurry is then poured into slurry molds and the molds are lowered into the pressure vessel. The pressure vessel is brought up to temperature and pressure to meet the conditions of the specific well being studied. (Typical values for the increase of temperature and pressure on the samples in the molds are detailed in API Spec 10.) Testing to determine the compressive strength of samples is usually done after the samples have been in the pressure vessels for periods of 8, 12, and 24 hours, and seven days.

The Series of TG-7370 Pressurized Curing Chambers are used in laboratories involved in oil well cement research programs, research and testing of cement additives, cement manufacturer’s quality assurance programs, and in the research and field laboratories of well servicing companies.

Various models of the Series TG-7370 are available. These units, with their options, cover a wide range of operational temperatures and pressures to stimulate a wide variety of down-hole conditions. Both single and dual cell units are available.

The dual cell units offer the advantages of a minimum requirement of laboratory space. They also offer a slightly lower cost per cell because two pressure vessels are combined into one cabinet.

Special long life metal-to-metal “Bridgeman” seal developed by Shenyang Taige has proven to be extremely reliable under high temperature stress and does not require cooling.

Units operate to extremely high temperatures and pressures to include well conditions with geothermal temperatures and ultra deep pressures.

The cooling jacket surrounding the pressure vessel permits the circulation of a cooling fluid to cool the chamber quickly maximizing the number of tests that can be run in a day.

Dual cell units are cost efficient and take less laboratory space than two single cells.

OPERATIONS

Operation of the Shenyang Taige Pressurized Curing Chamber is simple. All of the operational controls are conveniently located on the front panel. (The temperature controls can be remotely located if desired. See options.) The control parameters for temperature and pressure are easily read on the panel gauges and digital indicators.

The temperature control of the samples is maintained with a microprocessor-based Temperture Controller. The Temperature Controller has programmable capability so the “dual slope” temperature profiles, as required by API Spec 10, can easily be set by the operator via the panel keypad. This ease of setting the temperature profile is a great improvement over any previous temperature control device. In addition to controlling the rise in temperature and holding the temperature constant over the curing period, the Temperature Controller will control the cooling rate at the end of the test in conjunction with the application of cooling water.

Pressure is generated with an air-operated high-pressure pump, and control is maintained with a pressure relief valve.
