PDC composite sheet bit material classification
1. Carcass type PDC bit
A carcass type diamond compact (PDC) drill is a cutting type drill that welds a diamond compact to a drill carcass by brazing. The carcass bit is sintered with tungsten carbide powder, brazed on the tungsten carbide carcass with a synthetic polycrystalline diamond compact, and the diameter of the diamond is used.
2. Steel body type PDC bit
Steel body PDC bits are machined from nickel, chromium and molybdenum alloys. After heat treatment, the drill bit body is drilled, and the artificial polycrystalline diamond composite piece is pressed into (tightly fit) the bit body, and the columnar tungsten carbide is used to maintain the diameter.
